Mary MacKillop Precinct
Mary MacKillop Precinct is located at Kensington, on the historical site established by Mary MacKillop in 1872. Here she lived, worked and prayed with her pioneering companions, during eleven early years of the fledgling Sisters of St Joseph Congregation.
Mary MacKillop Precinct is a welcoming place for all people of all backgrounds.
It comprises:
St Joseph’s Chapel, where Mary prayed so often.
Mary MacKillop Museum, which offers an interactive, ‘hands-on’ learning experience.
Bethany, our conference centre, which hosts a range of spirituality and personal development programmes. Bethany is also available for hire.
The local Mary MacKillop Walk begins and ends at Mary MacKillop Precinct.
Mary’s legacy lives on here!
