Elderflowering Session 2: Autumn, the Autumn Sun
Friday May 10
10:30am-3:30pm
at Bethany in the Mary MacKillop Precinct
4 High Street, Kensington
Facilitated by Lorraine Muir
I love autumn, the season of the year that God seemed to have put here, just for the beauty of it. (Lee Maynard)
In this session, we will explore:
Autumn as the season of the ‘Young Elder,’ the rich tapestry of autumn as our harvest season, the Parable of the Sower, autumn as a time of releasing and re-evaluating, the life lessons that autumn brings.
We will reflect on the thresholds of our inner journey and the Celtic concept of Trasna as ‘The Crossing Place’.
What attendees at Session 1 said …
Love the idea of conscious eldering: choosing to honour and celebrate growing older.
Thank you for providing this experience. It has expanded my heart!
A very useful workshop to help reflect on my past life and draw inspiration for the future as an elder with all the blessings that entails.
